Education

I attended Portland State University to receive my undergraduate degree in 1973. I continued on to the Oregon Health and Science University Dental School to receive my Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1980.

Continuing Education

Keeping current in new theories, systems, and techniques improves us as clinicians. I have continued training in the use of orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, implantology, and advanced restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

Outside the Office

I have lived in Portland my entire life. My wife, Marcia, is a registered nurse, and we have two grown children. Jeff works in sports radio and television and Brian is a dentist who also works in this practice. We have two Himalayans, Winston and Bentley, and two Golden Doodles, Murphy and Izzy. In my spare time I enjoy woodworking, tinkering in my workshop, trying to keep up with the yard work, playing with my pets, and exploring the Pacific Northwest in my RV.
